best thing about being a florist: the constantly changing pantheon of flowers.
favourite flower combination: just can not drill down to one. favourite at the moment is stripy red and green hippeastrums with green roses.
most memorable event/occasion you have done flowers for: a wedding- we decorated a ferry with life size bride and groom dolls at the front. lined the venue(fort denison) with 1.5m tall gardenias. we dropped $5000 worth of rose petals from a helicopter while guests sipped champagne. sprayed a wall of water against the setting sun to create a rainbow and had an old fashioned biplane fly through. then there were fireworks for the cake cutting. marque was absolutely packed with flowers. lots of fun!
