signature style: a sensory delight

the florist: andrew

number of years in floristry: 20

best thing about being a florist: working with beautiful 'things' that dont answer back plus witnessing the joy received when you get it right.

favourite flower combination: there are many...any flower/foliage combination that sculpturally 'sing'. at the moment....a bucket full of waratahs.

most memorable event/occasion you have done flowers for: there area two- the first was the art of flowers at government house and the second was dressing observatory hill for crown prince frederick and the princess mary of denmark.

you are inspired by: colour, shape, texture and all the other elements of successful sculpture...including simplicity.

you are passionate about: like most people working with flowers, i'm passionate about nature and the many forms and textures that she produces. i'm also passionate about engaging the senses and being true.
